7th December, 2002 Members of the Big Little Theatre School join up with Crescendo guests, Lorraine Rowan, Tracey Barrington, Damaris Fowler, Max White & Nick Guy to perform on behalf of St Aldhelm's Church, Branksome Park. Visit the picture gallery.
9th November, 2002 Members of the Big Little Theatre School perform in aid of CancerCare at Canford School.
7th November, 2002 entertained guests at the Variety Club of Great Britain jubilee dinner held at the Langtry Manor, Bournemouth.

Special BLTS Christmas Class announced
BLTS has been invited to workshop this brand new mini-musical, which is National Curriculum based. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to step back in time and experience the joys of Christmas through the eyes of Victorian families, servants and gentry, incorporating acting, singing, and dancing.

BLTS perform to capacity audience at the Pavilion
The Max Bygraves' birthday concert played to a capacity audience at the Pavilion, Bournemouth and members of BLTS were thrilled to perform two numbers at the start of the second half. "Stars of Tomorrow", which was composed by Colin Billing and has become our signature tune, was followed by "You Gotta Have a Star" composed by Anthony Bygraves which preceded Max Bygraves entrance.

9th October, 2002 Thanks to Max and Anthony Bygraves, BLTS were able to experience a professional recording session of Colin Billing's composition "Stars of Tomorrow", in preparation for Max Bygraves' birthday concert. Listen to a sample.
1st October, 2002 Birthday boy Max is just kidding around! Members of Big Little Theatre School are to record a CD with Max Bygraves in honour of his 80th birthday on 16th October. The CD will be sold at the Bournemouth Pavilion as a programme for the show on that evening. Copies available from The Variety Club of Great Britain or contact the BLTS office.
September, 2002 NEW page for future performances A new page has been added to announce opportunities for friends and supporters of BLTS/ to attend future performances given by members of the Big Little Theatre School.
18th September, 2002 Max's Birthday Blow Max Bygraves' 80th birthday concert at the London Palladium postponed because of Countryside Alliance march. But plans are being made for a special birthday concert at the Bournemouth Pavilion on October 16th instead.
September, 2002 Members of BLTS invited to model CKO Autumn 2002 clothing Younger children aged betweeen 4 and 12 were invited to model at the Autumn launch of CKO Clothing range for 2002 held at the prestigious Blue Mountain Centre in Bracknell.
4th September, 2002 New class schedule published The class schedule for the new academic year has been published and can be seen on the Classes page.
30th August 2002 BLTS to perform for CancerCare CancerCare Dorset is delighted to announce that the Big Little Theatre School has agreed to stage a charity performance on their behalf. Click for details.

cabaret group launched
The cabaret group was launched at a dinner held at the Highcliff Marriott hotel in Bournemouth on 11th August, 2002. Around 150 people had a good meal and were entertained by 16 members of thegroup. Read the Press Release and visit the picture gallery to see the latest photographs.
21st August 2002 Max Bygraves meets members of BLTS A group of BLTS students have recently had the privilege of meeting Max Bygraves. You may like to see some of the pictures that were taken.
18th August 2002 West End Summer School The West End Summer School reached its conclusion with a performance of the achievements of all the students gained during the intensive week of direction from West End director Norma Atallah. Visit the picture gallery to see a collection of photographs.
July 2002 The establishment of a BLTS cabaret group, to be known as , was announced at the Summer Fair.

May 2002 West End Summer School Our first ever West End Summer School for students 14-21 years. In just eight days (11th -18th August) you will not only put on a show from scratch, but also receive detailed "masterclass" style coaching on performance of two songs of your own choice. With West End directors Colin Billing and Norma Atallah.

27th March, 2002 Stars of Big Little Theatre School off to Korea Korea may sound a long way away but not for two students of the Big Little Theatre School, Louisa Copperwaite and David Baker.They have just been selected from 3500 young hopefuls from across the UK to join the National Youth Music Theatre.

create the stars of tomorrow
Horizon Motor Company the local Honda dealers have just signed a sponsorship deal with one of the South's most prestigious Musical Theatre Schools, Big Little.
1st February 2002 Back In The Spotlight Rehearsals are well under way for the production of Back In The Spotlight due at the Pavilion Bournemouth between 18th - 20th April. Tickets are selling fast so if you want to see some of the best young talent in the south, book on-line from the box office at the Pavilion or e-mail BLTS.
