| 4th July 2006 | Bournemouth Music Festival Youth Choir of the Year |
For the second year running "Vision" have been voted Youth Choir of the Year at the Bournemouth Music Festival.
Vision BLTS cabaret ensemble entered 2 classes UK Youth Choirs and Light Opera or Musical Show, both of which they won and gained an "Outstanding" mark for both entries. Outstanding is awarded to candidates gaining 90+ and is for an exceptional performance,both technically and artistically.
The adjudicator, David Bruce Payne was extremely impressed with the entire group and especially commented on the first rate piano playing of Marcus Marriott and expert conducting of Colin Billing. Well done "Vision!" |

Spring term LAMDA examination results in Acting and Verse & Prose have been fabulous for BLTS students.
21 students entered the various grades from introductory ( 5 years )... to Grade 8 ( Gold Medal ) - minimum age 16.

The 2006 Summer School information has now been published. Two Summer Schools are available, one for ages 5-13 years ( Musical Theatre Showtime) and the other for 13-16 years ( Broadway Showcase). Fiddler on the Roof is Theatre Machine’s second production following the company’s successful debut production of Dracula Spectacula last year and boasts a cast of 60 young people between the ages of 8 and 16.
