BLTS - Jane Eyre


	Introduction: It is rare that such a unique piece of musical theatre comes along at just the right time for just the right group of people. Jane Eyre – A Musical Drama has provided BLTS with such a thing for our professional work experience musical project this year. This classic and emotional tale has given the entire company, including the creative and production teams a wonderful opportunity to create from scratch our own concept of the story.
	The Company: Directed by Graham Hubbard and with Musical Director Colin Billing. Forty-seven of our students appeared in this, our second senior musical.
	The Music: Twenty-five musical numbers accompanied by a live eight-piece band under the direction of Colin Billing.
	Reviews and audience comment: Linda Kirkman from the Daily Echo said: "BIG Little’s avowed intention of giving its pupils as professional a theatrical experience as possible took on a whole new meaning at this show’s first night, when a recalcitrant tree took root centre stage and caused proceedings to come to a temporary halt while it was forcibly removed."
