Introduction: As we begin our Spotlight Six adventure in our much loved Pavilion Theatre, I wonder how many of you in the audience have seen all six and watched the youngsters come through the ranks and take centre stage. The Spotlight process is always very exciting at BLTS and Wild, Wonderful & Wicked! is no exception. It brings to a conclusion the first ten years of BLTS activity and what a celebration of activity it is.
The Company: Directed and choreographed by Chrissy Wickham and with Musical Director Colin Billing. More than 110 of our students appeared in this, the sixth Spotlight production.
The Music: Seventeen musical numbers, including many medleys from stage and screen and were accompanied by a twelve-piece band under the direction of Colin Billing. Dance numbers were more prominent this year with extremely challenging choreography.
